Why do we Fundraise?
Schools receive allocated funds from the Government, as well as payments for school fees from families. This money goes towards maintaining a functional and sustainable school environment for our children by providing valuable classroom resources and care for buildings and surrounds.
Your P&C fundraises to assist our school in creating the best possible educational environment for our children. In previous years we have raised funds for classroom resources, joint projects for a COLA extension, artificial turfing of the school oval, air conditioners for classrooms, playground equipment, sporting (PSSA) and creative and performing arts (CAPA) uniforms and equipment, garden club, and band equipment. These fundraising projects continue each year.
All events are run by volunteers, and we are always looking for people to help. If you would like to be involved by supporting your P&C and your school, please contact the P&C via email. We will also request helpers on the event notes handed out as each event approaches, so feel free to contact us with your availability.
We also know there are many families at Barnier who have businesses or work for a company that would love to contribute towards sponsoring an event or would like to donate prizes/services for raffles and other competitions. We have many ways of promoting businesses that support our school, so please contact us via email for more details.
