Wellbeing

At our school, student wellbeing and learning go hand in hand. We want every student to feel safe, included and ready to learn. Whether your child needs help with their mental, emotional, social or physical wellbeing, we are here to help them thrive at school and in daily life.

🌟 What is the PAX Good Behaviour Game? 🌟

At Barnier, we are thrilled to see the positive impact of the PAX Good Behaviour Game in our classrooms! PAX represents Peace, Productivity, Health and Happiness. This innovative program is designed to promote positive behaviour and create consistent supportive learning environments in every classroom across the school. By focusing on positive behaviour, this game helps students learn important social skills while fostering a sense of community within the classroom.

Key Features of the PAX Good Behaviour Game:

Teamwork: Students often work in teams, encouraging collaboration and support as they work towards earning rewards for good behaviour.

Clear Expectations: Teachers collaborate with students to establish simple rules and expectations for behaviour, making it easier for students to understand what is required of them.

Positive Reinforcement: Instead of focusing on negative behaviours, the game highlights and rewards positive actions, such as respect, cooperation, and responsibility.

Fun Rewards: Teams work towards earning fun rewards (Granny Wacky Prizes) making the experience enjoyable and motivating.

Skill Development: The PAX Good Behaviour Game helps students build essential social skills, including communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.

By utilising the PAX Good Behaviour Game, we aim to create classroom environments where all students feel valued, respected, and motivated to succeed. We are proud to be using this innovative approach at Barnier and look forward to ongoing positive impact it has on our school community! 🎉✨
