Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

Welcome to Barnier Public School.

As a proud product of the public education system, I am deeply committed to ensuring every student receives a high-quality education that supports the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally—so they can achieve and exceed their potential.

At Barnier Public School, our core values of respect, responsibility, resilience and excellence guide everything we do. Our dedicated staff place students at the centre of every decision, creating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every child is known, valued, and cared for. We prioritise student wellbeing and empower our learners to make positive choices because they understand the impact of their actions on themselves and others.

As Principal, I feel privileged to work alongside our students and families every day. I am a lifelong learner, always seeking new ways to enrich our students’ experiences and prepare them for the road ahead. While we cannot prepare the road itself, we can equip your child with resilience, empathy, and problem-solving skills that will help them navigate life’s challenges.

At Barnier Public School, relationships matter. Each day, our students are welcomed by caring and committed staff who strive to make every school day a positive and meaningful experience.

I look forward to working alongside you and your child as we share this exciting educational journey together.

Warm regards,
Mrs Plowman

Principal
